For each of the following 12 questions, you will see a word either above or below the dashed line. Your job is to choose the answer that best reflects the meaning or definition of the word. For example, for this question:

the best answer is UP because top is closer in meaning to up than it is to down. Remember: you're answering based on the meaning of the word, not its location.
